Prof. Eko Ganis Sukoharsono is the Chairman of the Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners. Prof. Eko Ganis actively conducts dissemination and concept of sustainability reporting trough seminars, workshops, trainings and research in Indonesia and International. Prof. Eko Ganis is currently as member of Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) and Indonesian Institute of Accountants, Compartment for Academicians (IAI KAPd) as Expert Staff for Cooperation of 2018-2020.

At the university and association levels, Prof. Eko Ganis served as Senate Board Member and Professor of Sustainability Accounting at University of Brawijaya, Director of Research Center for Business, Social and Environmental Sustainability. He was the Chairman for IAI KAPd – Branch of Malang (1999-2003), currently as Expert staff, and also as Head, Board of Editors of the International Journal of Accounting and Business Society.

Prof. Eko Ganis graduated from University of Wollongong, Australia for his Master of Commerce in Accounting (1991) and Honours Master of Commerce (1992). Prof. Eko Ganis also obtained Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting (1995) from University of Wollongong, Australia. He studied additional knowledge of university management at the University of Kentucky, Oklahoma State University, and Colorado State University, USA. He was the top 1000 of the Indonesian Scientists by Google Scholar in 2016 and 2017.

NCSR was established in 2005 by government bodies, corporations and individuals in early recognition of the need to develop competency in sustainability within Indonesia. In 2007, the Government of Indonesia included a requirement for conducting some sustainability actions and reporting on those actions for some private and public corporations. NCSR has run the Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Awards since 2005.
