ESG is actually not a new phenomenon, since it started in 2004. However, we only see a very rapid development in recent years. ESG depends on the disclosure of policies, programs and performance by companies. Therefore, it is very likely that companies display information that does not really correspond to reality with the aim of getting a higher ESG ranking and rating. This greenwashing practice threatens the development of ESG and must be avoided by the entire ESG ecosystem. This webinar is intended to discuss what and how greenwashing is, as well as what efforts need to be made to avoid it.
